We have just read ‘Ella Kazoo’ and have been discussing techniques used by authors when writing picture books. Stage 2 are writing their own and have discovered that some of the best ideas for stories usually come from our own experiences. Most of us today could relate to the ( sometimes) painful experience of having our hair brushed!

I have just read that Ella Kazoo is to be the first of 3 Ella stories……another one is “Ella Kazoo will not clean her teeth” to be published in 2009!
